Bill Moritz, J.D.
Founder and President
Bill practices law in Colorado Springs, Colorado, specializing in estate planning, non-profit organizations and business law with the law firm of Moritz and Associates, PC He is Lead Attorney for From Success 2 Significant which provides information to empower Generous Families to live a more significant life.
Bill also established the New Horizons Foundation, a community foundation in Colorado Springs, and serves as its Executive Director and he established Joy To the World Foundation and serves as its President.
He has worked with many different non-profit organizations over the past 20 years, including The Navigators, Baptist Bible College and Seminary, Harvest Workers, Christian Broadcasting Network, International Bible Society, Compassion International, Oral Roberts University, Seattle Pacific University, Young Life, The Christian and Missionary Alliance Denomination, Summit Ministries, Christian Blind Mission International, HCJB World Radio, Mission Aviation Fellowship, Mission of Mercy, Thailand Ambassadors of Christ and the YMCA. He has also written the book, Unlocking The Full Potential of Your Assets; Creative Uses of the Charitable Remainder Unitrust.

Chris came to Joy to the World Foundation in 2018 with more than 15 years of leadership experience with nonprofit organizations. He is passionate about helping pastors, charitable families, and ministries expand their impact through careful strategic planning, structuring, and execution. Chris is a Certified Estate Planner® and an associate member of the Independent Trustee Alliance.
Chris holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies (New Testament) from Boston University and is an Anglican pastor. He lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and three children.
Deanne Ward
Director of Strategic Initiatives
Deanne Ward has worked for more than 30 years in collaborative partnerships with many non-profits throughout the world. Her passion is to impact the lives of others for the cause of Christ. Deanne has traveled to more than 50 countries with this purpose. Her heart is to minister to those who are the most forsaken in many cultures—the widow and the orphan.
In 2002, she was ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by World Challenge, Inc. She has worked with various churches, ministries, and non-profits, establishing and cultivating leadership teams and currently leads our MyHope Global mental wellness initiative.
She is a visionary executive with a vast experience managing all levels of multiple projects. She has served on a number of non-profit board of directors.
Deanne currently resides in Colorado Springs with her singer/songwriter husband, Matthew Ward. They have three grown daughters and keep busy with their five grandsons and one granddaughter.
